How to make my Easy Lemon Pepper Asparagus Recipe
The first thing you’ll need to do is to trim the asparagus. The asparagus will tell you where the tough end meets the tender part of the vegetable if you just bend one until it naturally breaks.
Then, using that one as a guide, trim the rest of them all at once.
Add the asparagus to a lined baking sheet and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil. Season well with salt and pepper.
I’m also using this lemon pepper. Use to taste. It can be quite strong if you are not used to it.
Finally, add the thin lemon slices and give another sprinkle of salt and pepper.
Roast at 400 degrees until the asparagus is tender, about 15-20 minutes or more depending on thickness. I do prefer the thin stalks to the thicker versions. I just think they are more flavorful.
